Baha Bay Water Park is a 5-star rated sprawling Waterpark at the luxury Baha Mar resort on Cable Beach. Discover why you should spend the day at this fun waterpark attraction.
Baha Bay Water Park is a sprawling 15-acre expanse of beachside slides, raft rides, pools, and more. With amenities catering to adults and kids alike, food options that can accommodate a variety of pallets, and day pass options ensuring that anyone can visit, it’s one destination you won’t want to pass up on.
Bahamar Resort is so big, it almost feels like a city.
The Baha Mar Resort is home to three hotels: The Grand Hyatt, The SLS, and The Rosewood. Staying at any of these properties provides you with easy, walkable access to Baha Bay Water Park.
For travelers staying at another Nassau property or passing through the area on a cruise ship, taxiing to the resort will be your best bet. While traffic can be congested at different times throughout the day, the ride offers scenic ocean views.
Baha Mar Waterpark hours are from 10 am to 6 pm, making it the perfect late morning or early afternoon destination.
The wave pool is so big it resembles the water at nearby Cable Beach.
Baha Mar Nassau is on Cable Beach, which is one of the prettiest beaches in the Nassau area (arguably second only to Cabbage Beach on nearby Paradise Island). Located around 5 miles west of Downtown Nassau, the Bahamar resort is a bit removed from the hustle and bustle around the cruise ship port.
If you’re staying at Baha Mar, it’s tempting to want to spend most of your time making your way around the resort’s 1,000 acres. While you should investigate all of the nooks and crannies, make sure to explore the historic parts of Nassau, as well. Queen’s Staircase, Fort Fincastle, and John Watling’s Distillery are some of the many offsite locations worth visiting in the Bahamian capital.
Baha Bay Water Park has a number of attractions for both adults and kids
The Baha Bay Water Park is one of the newest additions in the Nassau area. All of the attractions on the resort are beautifully designed, a lot of fun, and can keep you and your travel companions entertained for at least a couple of hours.
The Baha Mar Water Slides have earned a reputation that puts them up there with those at Atlantis, and for good reason. With sharp twists and turns and freefall drops galore, they’re enough to make even the most stoic of travelers crack a smile.
While most of the Baha Mar Water Slides are solo activities, the raft rides are perfect for families and groups. Cyclone Ruse, Hammerhead, and Dueling Riptide Coaster all have you hurdling forward through different settings. Dueling Riptide Coaster is extra enjoyable as instead of relying on gravity to bring you down, water jets take you upwards!
The raft rides offer exhilarating fun for groups.
The River at the Baha Bay Water Park is the resort’s take on a lazy river. However, unlike those found at other hotels, The River isn’t as lazy as you might expect. With sections featuring rapids, currents, and other surprises, it’ll keep you on the edge of your seat (or inner tube).
Baha Bay Lagoon is the resort’s 20,000-square-foot wave pool. If you’re looking for a calmer experience, there’s a shallower section where things are a bit more controlled. If you’re up for some fun, head to the six-foot section. Once there, you’ll be bombarded by waves that reach heights of up to five feet!
The water park is full of exhilarating attractions including this wave pool for surfing.
Guests staying at the resort enjoy complimentary access to Baha Bay Water Park.
Baha Bay Water Park is home to some of the newest and most exciting attractions in the Nassau area. With exhilarating rides catering to adrenaline junkies and a plethora of amenities for everyone else, the Baha Mar Waterpark is great for tourists staying in Nassau and day-trippers alike.
